• Anything about your account, a lesson, a payment or a refund: support@cookie.education, or the contact form. We reply within 5 working days.
• Anything about a child's safety: safeguarding@cookie.education, which goes to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Tristan Pagden, and is answered the same day. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 first. The safeguarding page says what we do and includes a route that does not come back to us.

If something has gone wrong, tell us and say what you think should change. A person reads it and you get a written answer within 5 working days; the full process, including how to disagree with a decision we have made, is on the terms page. We do not belong to an alternative dispute resolution scheme. If you are unhappy with our final answer you can go to the courts, and if you paid by card you keep every right you have with your card issuer.

A complaint about how we handle your personal data can be made with the data complaint form or by email. We acknowledge it within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk at any time.

If something on this site infringes your copyright, or a review or profile says something about you that is untrue and damaging, email support@cookie.education with the subject line Content notice. You do not need an account. Include:

• your name and an email address we can reply to;
• the address of the page and enough detail for us to find the exact content;
• for copyright, the work you own and why you believe the content infringes it; for a defamatory statement, what it says, why it is untrue and what harm it has caused;
• for a defamatory statement, whether you consent to us passing your name and address to the person who posted it; the law asks us to tell them who is complaining, and we will not do so without your consent or a court order.

We acknowledge a complete notice within two working days, and where the law asks us to we pass it to the person who posted the content and give them five days to respond. Where there is no way to reach them, or they do not respond, the content comes down.
