我们招收哪些人

We are selective about who teaches here: we look for tutors at top universities, we interview everybody ourselves, and nobody is listed without a criminal record check on file. 必须满足六项条件，辅导老师的个人资料才会建立。

1. Where they are studying, or studied. We look for tutors at top universities: Oxford, Cambridge and the Russell Group in the UK, and their equivalents elsewhere. It is what we look for rather than a rule we apply blindly, so a reviewer can say yes to somebody outstanding from a university not on our list, and can say no to somebody who is at one of them.
2. A university email address we verify ourselves. We send a code to it and they have to enter it, which is the quickest honest answer to "are you actually there", checked by software rather than taken on trust. It is a convenience rather than a requirement: somebody who has graduated, or whose university does not issue one, makes their case in writing instead and a person reads it.
3. Their degree, their school grades and a CV. Real grades in the subjects they want to teach, in writing, reviewed by a person. Not "strong A-levels": which ones, what they got, and when.
4. An interview with us, in this platform. On the same video system lessons run on, so we have met them and seen them teach something rather than talk about teaching.
5. Proof they are who they say they are. A photo of a passport or driving licence and a photo of their face, through Stripe. Stripe tells us the outcome and those photographs never reach us. A right-to-work check is separate, and a copy of the document from that check is kept on record, as the law requires.
6. An Enhanced DBS check, before the profile exists. Not before the first lesson: before anybody can see them at all. Outside the UK, their own country’s equivalent, read and decided on by a person. The software refuses to publish a profile without one.

导师常见问题

导师如何经过审核？他们都通过 DBS 背景审查吗？

我们严格筛选导师。导师必须符合六项要求，才能拥有个人资料。我们寻找就读于顶尖大学的导师（英国的牛津大学、剑桥大学和罗素集团大学，以及其他国家的同等院校）。申请者需要告诉我们自己学过什么、在哪所学校学习，以及取得了什么成绩。如果申请者有大学邮箱地址，通过它验证最快；我们会向该地址发送验证码。我们会在这个平台上亲自面试每位申请者，每个人都必须完成身份核验，而且在个人资料上线之前就必须存档犯罪记录审查结果，而不是等到第一节课之前才审查。任何人都可以申请：就读院校只是我们考量的因素之一，并非硬性规定；它只是申请者的个人情况，不代表任何大学为其背书。所有列出的英国导师都存有 Enhanced DBS 审查记录。居住在英国以外的导师需要提供所在国家或地区的同等审查结果（如果当地有儿童工作审查，则提供该审查；如果没有，则提供国家警方出具的无犯罪记录证明）。每份材料都会由工作人员审核并作出判断；我们绝不会把这些审查称为 DBS，因为它们并不是 DBS。无论哪种情况，没有存档审查结果，系统都不会允许个人资料标记为已核实。大多数国家没有类似 DBS Update Service 的服务，因此我们要求海外导师每 12 个月提供一份新的证明。

我在英国境外也能上课吗？

可以。Cookie Tutoring 在英国运营，导师可以教任何地方的学生，所有时间都会按你所在的时区显示。除了英国学历考试，我们也涵盖 IB、AP、IGCSE、SAT 和各国的毕业考试。课程以英镑定价，因此你的银行可能会收取货币兑换费。在欧洲经济区（EEA），你可以自行同意此类安排的年龄因国家而异；如果你未达到该年龄，需要由家长或监护人为你预约。

怎样才能成为导师？

创建账号，告诉我们你学过什么、可以教什么，然后填写申请，包括你的成绩、大学邮箱地址（如果有）、身份验证以及与我们的面试。我们只录取少数申请者，但无论你在哪里学习，任何人都可以申请；你不需要教师资格。如果通过申请，我们会指导你办理 Enhanced DBS 审查；如果你在英国境外，则办理你所在国家的同等审查。你可以自行设定不低于最低标准的时薪和自己的工作时间。课程结束 24 小时后，收入即可提现，并会每周汇入你关联的 Stripe 账户。
