Class 12 tutors
A Class 12 tutor works one-to-one on the board exams a student in India sits at the end of school, for CBSE or the CISCE’s ISC, on the student’s own syllabus. Lessons are online with a shared whiteboard that writes maths and chemistry properly, and every time on the site is shown in the student’s own timezone.

The board exams and what comes after
Class 12 marks matter for university places in India and abroad, and many students prepare for entrance exams at the same time. A tutor here works on the board syllabus, from the board’s own sample papers and marking schemes, and a student applying to the UK can also find admissions-test and interview tutors on the site.
Physics, chemistry and maths in an online lesson
The whiteboard writes equations, derivations and chemical formulae properly, and a student can photograph their written working with a phone, so the tutor sees exactly where a method went wrong.

Common questions
Do tutors teach ISC as well as CBSE?
Yes. Both are offered under Class 12, and a tutor’s profile says which board they know.
Can a tutor help with applying to UK universities?
Yes. The site has tutors for UK admissions tests, personal statements and interviews, and cookie has free guides to applying from abroad.
Are lessons in Indian time?
Yes. Every time on the site is shown in your own timezone, and tutors set the hours they are free, so you choose a time that suits you.
How much does a Class 12 tutor cost?
From £30 an hour, set by each tutor and shown on their profile, and priced in pounds, so a bank outside the UK may add a conversion fee. Most tutors offer a free 15-minute intro, and their profile says so.
What happens in a lesson?
A lesson is live and one to one, in a room in your browser: video both ways, a shared whiteboard with proper maths notation, a graph plotter and screen sharing, on a laptop, tablet or phone with nothing to install. The tutor can put questions, notes and past papers on the board, and you can photograph your written work with your phone to put it there. The board is kept for 365 days, so either of you can open it again, print it or make notes, flashcards or questions from it, and the tutor writes a short report afterwards.

How it works here
We are selective about who teaches here: we look for tutors at top universities, we read every application ourselves, and everybody completes an identity check before they are listed. Lessons run in the browser with live video and a shared whiteboard. Rates start at £30 an hour, most tutors offer a free 15-minute intro and their profile says so, and every student gets cookie's study software at no extra cost.
